History of Keltiklady

Keltiklady began as a dream in 2003 and has evolved into a family run business.  We are  primarily an on line retail store.   Our artisans custom design and manufacture a variety of semi-precious chip and bead jewelry.  Amber and Jet jewelry is one of our specialties.  Our jewelry is made here in Houghton Lake, Michigan, USA..  Our artisans also, create our custom oils, powders, salts, wands and altar cloths.


History and Usage of Stones

Stones have been a source of adornment for thousands of years.  Not only do the stones delight the eyes, they have a very unique vibrational patterns, which can inter-act with one's energy fields.  They can assist in boosting energy levels, correcting  imbalances: mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially.  Gem stones are very valuable allies in magickal and positive spiritual development.
Amber is a stone long prized by the Celtic and Norse tribes of Europe.  It is fosilized tree resin.  It is very light in weight and when rubbed can build up a static electrical charge.  When worn next to the skin, amber will pick up the body temperature of the wearer.  Amber has long been associated with the Norse goddess Freya.  It has been called Freya's tears and Tregelt  (tree gold).  It is said, amber helps the wearer to change negative energies into positive ones, bring what is desired into manifestation and strengthens the connection between the wearer and the Ancient Ones.
Jet is a form of fosilized coal.  It is also very light in weight.  Jet, it is said, has protective properties for the wearer.  Jet jewelry became very popular in the Victorian era, as a form of mourning jewelry by Queen Victoria.  Jet is also called black amber.  Amber and Jet jewelry are often worn by priestesses of various Wiccan/Pagan traditions.  Amber and Jet is a very powerful combination.

We offer free resizing on any of our Keltiklady jewelry line.  Let us know and we can gladly make it a little larger or smaller to fit your needs.
We will repair any necklace, bracelet or anklet made by Keltiklady within one year from the date of purchase for free.  Mail the item to us, we will repair it and mail it back to you.
